About Us

Away We Grow opened in September 2023, when Madeline—an experienced early childhood educator and mother of two—chose to bring her professional work home. Inspired by the rhythms of family life and a passion for child-led learning, she created a warm, intentional program where children grow through play, curiosity, and everyday wonder.

Rooted in outdoor exploration and guided by an inquiry-based approach, our program supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. In our experience, the most lasting learning happens when children feel connected—to trusted adults, to engaging materials, and to the natural world around them.
